About this Role

If you have 5+ years of ABAP expertise and thrive on solving complex HCM challenges, this is the role for you.

Note: This is a contract-to-hire role with a possibility of a full-time offer after 4 months.

What you’ll be doing

• Design & develop core ABAP OO components for our SaaS products
• Build and consume OData services (CDS/plain-vanilla) to power Fiori and third-party integrations
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI leads and customer teams to define requirements and deliver enhancements
• Optimize existing workflows: classical reports, ALVs, function modules and BAdIs
• Support hybrid landscapes and on-premise ↔ cloud scenarios
• Engage in onsite customer workshops and remote debugging sessions

What we’re looking for

Mandatory (5+ years)

• Hands-on ABAP development with strong Object-Oriented design
• Proven experience in HR-specific ABAP (payroll, personnel administration, org management)
• End-to-end OData service creation and consumption

Nice to have

• BIB (Business Intelligence) integration experience
• SOAP-based web services (both inbound & outbound)
• Exposure to SAP Fiori fundamentals
• Working knowledge of hybrid landscapes (on-prem ⇄ cloud)
• Familiarity with classical SAP reporting tools (ALV, FM, BAdI)
