Workday Integration Consultant

About the job

INTEGRTR builds enterprise HR integration products and delivers the integration programmes behind them. We are looking for an experienced Workday Integration Consultant to join our integration team in India.

You will design, build, test, and support the integrations that connect Workday to SAP HCM, payroll providers, identity platforms, and whatever else a customer runs. This is hands-on delivery work on live programmes, not advisory work at a distance.

What you will work on

The integrations you build carry real HR and payroll data between systems that were never designed to talk to each other. When a PECI run misfires, someone does not get paid correctly. That constraint shapes how we work: you own a change through to production, and correctness beats speed every time.

Most programmes are international, so you will work directly with customers, functional consultants, and payroll teams across several countries.

What you will do

• Design and develop Workday integrations using PECI, WECI, and DCOD
• Build integrations between Workday and external payroll and HR systems, SAP HCM among them
• Configure and maintain Workday Studio integrations, Core Connectors, EIBs, and calculated fields
• Work across XML, XSLT, SOAP, REST, SFTP, and the rest of the integration toolkit
• Turn integration requirements into technical designs that hold up in production
• Configure both full and delta based data processing, and know when each is the right call
• Investigate integration errors down to the root cause, whether that is data, mapping, or connectivity
• Support unit testing, integration testing, and customer acceptance testing
• Write the technical documentation, mapping specifications, and operational guides the next person will rely on
• Help turn recurring delivery patterns into reusable integration assets rather than rebuilding them per customer

What we are looking for

• Strong hands-on experience delivering Workday integrations end to end
• Practical experience with PECI or WECI, which is a hard requirement for this role
• Good working knowledge of Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, and Workday Web Services
• Comfort with XML, XSLT, SOAP, REST, and secure file transfer
• A real understanding of HR and payroll data, and what makes it go wrong
• The ability to take a complex integration failure and work it out on your own
• Clear written and spoken English, since most of your customer contact is in it

Nice to have

• Experience with DCOD and third party integrations
• Workday to SAP HCM integration experience, or integrations with external payroll providers
• Exposure to middleware platforms such as SAP Cloud Integration
• A habit of building tooling or templates that save the next project time
